Fatz High Flow Intake – Factory Airbox

With the need to Increase power output comes the need for increase for Airflow. The factory design for the intake on the 70 series land cruiser leaves a lot to be desired with a turbo situated behind a large profile engine mount not allowing for decent sized plumbing. We solve this issue with our revised engine mount bracket. Forged in 7075 Aluminium, our engine mount is the most advanced engine mount available. our design enables a smaller profile to rout a 3” diameter tube all the way through to the turbo inlet for maximum air flow. Also incorporating an additional bracing plate to the underside of the chassis bracket reducing load on the chassis top face. We run the piping from the airbox in seamless 4” stainless tube across the engine bay and down beside the radiator shroud. Then entering our calibrated MAF tube. This unique feature of our intake allows for install without immediate tuning. Then ducting in 3” tube to the turbo inlet. Supplied in the kit is a piggy-back Harness to relocate the Mass Air Flow sensor as required. The snout of the turbo is replaced with a straight, Billet CNC machined snout, supplied to suit different turbo inlet sizing. This kit is compatible with Factory Airboxes and factory outlet configuration aftermarket airboxes. Fatz always recommends protecting your engine with a Fatz airbox with Fatz ISO Tested filtration.
