The factory fuel filter in the 300 Series is situated in an extremely vulnerable position behind the rear axle, underneath the vehicle. A position close to the rear tyre where rocks and mud could very easily be flicked up, damaging the sensor wiring or impacting the plastic housing itself. Our Fatz built fuel filter guard is extremely sturdy, built in 3mm 304 Grade S/S to provide ample protection while looking as classy as the rest of the vehicle. The filter can still be serviced without removing the guard, so maintenance process is not affected for you or your Toyota technician. A cost effective solution to ensure you are not left standard on the side of the road due to a leaking fuel system.
